A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a private space where you can speak freely. No special software is needed — we send you a secure link before your appointment.
Research consistently shows that telehealth psychiatric visits are as effective as in-person visits for medication management and many forms of therapy.
Yes. Our providers can electronically prescribe most psychiatric medications to your local pharmacy, including SSRIs, SNRIs, non-stimulant ADHD medications, and sleep aids. For stimulant medications, South Carolina law and DEA regulations may require periodic in-person evaluation.
We send your prescription electronically to any pharmacy you choose — CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, your local independent pharmacy, or a mail-order service.
New telehealth patients are often able to be scheduled within a week of requesting an appointment. We have appointment availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
For most patients, telehealth can be your primary mode of care indefinitely. Patients on certain controlled substances may need periodic in-person evaluations per state and federal regulations.
Most insurance plans cover telehealth visits at the same rate as in-person visits. We verify your coverage before your first appointment.
If your video connection drops, your provider will call you by phone to continue the session. We build buffer time into telehealth appointments to account for occasional technical issues.
