Online Psychiatric Medication Management for South Carolina

Expert care from board-certified providers — from anywhere in South Carolina via secure telehealth.

Psychiatric Medication Management — Available Statewide

Psychiatric medication management via telehealth works. Your provider can conduct a thorough evaluation, prescribe medication, monitor your response, and adjust your regimen — all through secure video visits. Hope Behavioral Medicine serves patients across all of South Carolina with the same board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners who see patients at our West Ashley office.

Your initial telehealth evaluation is 45-60 minutes — a comprehensive psychiatric assessment reviewing your symptoms, medical history, family history, past medication trials, and treatment goals. This thoroughness is what sets us apart from quick-prescription telehealth services. We diagnose carefully before we prescribe.

What We Prescribe

Our providers prescribe across the full range of psychiatric medications via telehealth: SSRIs and SNRIs for anxiety and depression, stimulant and non-stimulant medications for ADHD, sleep aids for insomnia, anxiolytics, and other agents as clinically indicated. All prescriptions are sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice anywhere in South Carolina — CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, your local independent pharmacy, or a mail-order service.

Lab Coordination

If your provider needs lab work (thyroid function, metabolic panel, or other tests), we order it to a Quest Diagnostics, LabCorp, or hospital lab near your location. You complete the lab at your convenience, and results are sent directly to our office. Your provider reviews them during your next telehealth appointment — no in-person visit required for lab review.

Second Opinions

If you are currently on psychiatric medication and feel it is not working — or if you have concerns about side effects, interactions, or whether your diagnosis is correct — our providers offer second opinion evaluations via telehealth. We review your full medication history, reassess your diagnosis, and provide clear, actionable recommendations. This service is available to patients anywhere in South Carolina.

Coordination with Your Care Team

We communicate directly with your primary care provider, therapist, and any other members of your care team. Telehealth does not mean isolated care — it means the same coordinated approach we provide in person, delivered to your home. New telehealth patients are often able to be scheduled within a week of requesting an appointment.
