If you have not completed a formal ADHD evaluation or testing before, ADHD testing is required before ADHD treatment can begin. The testing is a separate computerized assessment of attention, activity and impulsivity on a third-party, FDA-cleared ADHD assessment platform, completed online as part of your evaluation, usually before your virtual visit with your provider. It is self-pay and not covered by insurance; we will tell you the cost when we call to schedule.

Your visit with your provider is separate from the testing. Your provider reviews your symptoms, history, daily functioning and testing results, then builds a treatment plan with you, which can include counseling for organization, coping strategies and daily functioning. If you have insurance, your initial virtual evaluation and follow-up visits may be billed to your plan according to your benefits.
